A Solo Iris on Blue, 2025

Oil on Canvas

50x100 cm

4cm deep canvas.

Available with a black wood frame on request, finished ready to hang unframed.

This piece is inspired by a single iris in a community planter in East London. The larger than life yellow and white flower sits proudly against a background of deep blue-green and violet which captures the light and creates a bold but calm feeling.

This current collection from my ongoing Urban Nature works features large scale pieces exploring the impact of native and non-native plant-life on local ecosystems and environments.
